I help the world’s largest banks solve their hardest problems in financial crime, risk and regulatory compliance, and I take the real-time data platforms behind those solutions to market — turning deep technical capability into the positioning, narrative and demand that resonate with the people who actually buy: the CTOs, risk leaders and engineers inside those banks.
I’ve spent over a decade in and around financial services data: from real-time platforms at Barclays acting on billions of events a day, to search, observability and analytics at Elastic, to leading the financial services business at Neo4j. I know how banks evaluate, buy and deploy infrastructure, and because I come from a deeply technical background, I can talk strategy with a bank’s CTO and still get hands-on with the queries and implementation detail alongside their engineers.
As Global Head of Financial Services at Neo4j I own the vertical end to end: the positioning and messaging, the content and use-case library that ranks where buyers search, the executive community I founded and host, and the product and acquisition strategy that decides where we invest. I work across product marketing, product and the field, because winning a vertical takes all three moving together.
Led Elastic’s financial services practice across EMEA (real-time search, observability and analytics at scale), building centres of excellence and repeatable plays that scaled adoption among banks and opened new use cases such as trade settlement.
Owned complex solution strategy for major financial services and enterprise accounts across EMEA (scalable search, observability and real-time data platforms), building the market credibility that led to running the FSI practice.
Delivered Elastic’s real-time search and analytics for enterprise customers, with a growing focus on financial services use cases.
Built Burberry’s first Hadoop data platform for customer insight, and designed the integration architecture behind online order processing and the monogramming programme.
Surfaced real-time data to customer-facing applications through enterprise integration platforms.
Early-career software and data engineering across government and global pharmaceutical clients, building data-automation platforms and leading a small distributed team.
